Aggregate
.jpg)
We stock a 10mm drainage aggregate, but other sizes are available on notification. Aggregate is slightly different colours at all 3 stores. It is basically a dark grey blue product that is mostly used for drainage, however it can look quite effective as gravel especially on minimalist commercial looking sites.
Cream Chip
Rhyolite is the actual rock that sells under the name Cream Chip. We stock a 14mm gravel which is ideal for paths & general landscaping. We recommend only applying about 50mm as loose gravels can be difficult to walk on beyond that. Always prepare the site properly with Roadbase in a traffic area. For garden beds we would always use a weedmat to stop the gravel & soils floating together.
Scoria
Scoria is a 14mm volcanic rock from Victoria. We recommend only spreading it about 50mm as loose gravels can be difficult to walk on beyond that. Always prepare the site properly with Roadbase in a traffic area. For garden beds we would always use a weedmat to stop the gravel & soils floating together.
Crushed Terracotta Tile
Lee Rowan's stock a 20mm recycled Crushed Terracotta Tile. Colours will vary slightly from batch to batch being a recyled product. We recommend only spreading it about 50mm as loose gravels can be difficult to walk on beyond that. Always prepare the site properly with Roadbase in a traffic area. For garden beds we would always use a weedmat to stop the gravel & soils floating together.
River Gravel 7mm & Oversize. (only available for pick up from Raymond Terrace)
We keep River Gravel in 2 sizes, a very fine 7mm gravel & an oversize gravel, which is anything from 40mm up to small soccer ball size rocks. River Gravel is a mixed coloured product with natural red, browns & greys. For the 7mm gravel we recommend only spreading it about 50mm as loose gravels can be difficult to walk on beyond that. Always prepare the site properly with Roadbase in a traffic area. The Oversize looks sensational for dry creek beds & Cactii garden. In this case you would allow one cubic meter to cover approximately 8m2.
Cowra White (only available at Raymond Terrace & Ourimbah)
We stock a 40mm round white Cowra Gravel which is approximately a golf ball size stone. We recommend only spreading it about 70mm as loose gravels can be difficult to walk on beyond that. Always prepare the site properly with Roadbase in a traffic area. For garden beds we would always use a weedmat to stop the gravel & soils floating together.
Cowra Gold (only available at Raymond Terrace)
Cowra Gold is a 40mm round gravel. We describe it as a cream, gold colour. We recommend only spreading it about 70mm as loose gravels can be difficult to walk on beyond that. Always prepare the site properly with Roadbase in a traffic area. For garden beds we would always use a weedmat to stop the gravel & soils floating together.
Mountain Black (only available at Ourimbah)
Mountain Black is a deep grey to black coloured gravel which is approximately 40mm in size. This is a great looking product for modern houses. We recommend only spreading it about 70mm as loose gravels can be difficult to walk on beyond that. Always prepare the site properly with Roadbase in a traffic area. For garden beds we would always use a weedmat to stop the gravel & soils floating together.
