Coarse Pine Bark (was $50.00 - May promotion)
As a larger alternative to the Fine Pine Bark we have sourced bark from a 50mm Radiata Pine tree from the southern New South Wales Highlands. This type of tree provides a a thick traditional nugget style of bark. We recommend a depth of 75mm for optimum coverage, which should last 9 to 12 months. Coarse Pine Bark will also provide good moisture holding & excellent weed supression. Being a deep rich red colour & from the outside of the tree, it also holds its' colour very well. As it is larger and heavier than the Fine Pine Bark, if you are applying it to steep banks we advise chicken wire to pin it down. Coarse Pine Bark is also available in a 60L bag if you require a smaller amount.
