EUCALYPTUS MULCH

Eucalyptus “Eucy” Mulch, as it is commonly known is produced from the “fines” of the hardwood woodchip. It is made up of pieces of wood about the size of a match, which will matt down well to really suppress weeds & hold the water in.

Mulch helps retain moisture and suppress weeds, Eucalyptus Mulch is a popular choice given its natural, tan like colour and general aromatic smell. Applying a mulch can help keep your plants cool in summer and warm in winter. Best used in in native gardens, residential and commercial garden beds.

Eucalyptus Mulch is great for:

  • – Retaining moisture
  • – Suppress weeds
  • – Regulate soil temperature
  • – Decorative finish

We still recommend a depth of 75mm.

Eucalyotus Mulch starts as a fresh hardwood timber colour but has a tendency to fade to a grey colour as it gets older & composts down.

Available in bulk, Big Green Bag or 60litre bag.

As a general rule, 20% extra needs to be ordered to factor in the compaction of the product. Please call us if you have questions on this.
