Bulk Gypsum is used to help break up heavy clay soils, improve soil structure and drainage.

Gypsum is a great option to use in the Newcastle region and improve soil as the local area is predominately made up of a heavy clay soil. It is ideal preparation when planting or renovations lawns and garden beds.

We normally apply about 1kg per square metre.

Mix it in well with some extra organic material & you will definitely see improvements in both your lawn & garden.

Calculating an accurate amount of product required for your project is very important. There is nothing worse than receiving a delivery to find you’re short on product.

Compact surfaces

As a general rule, 20% extra needs to be ordered to factor in the compaction of the product. Please call us if you have questions on this.

Of course sometimes your job area may not be square or rectangular, it may be winding and change widths at various times which can make correct measurement difficult.
