Zoysia redefined. Australis is a tough, hardy, medium textured zoysia grass with a blue-green, medium sized leaf. Australis suits yards with full sun to medium shade (minimum 4 hours of direct sunlight per day). It can be mown as low as 10mm, or left unmown up to 12 months reaching a max leaf height of around 100mm. Zoysia Australis is a great choice for the coastal NSW climate, with superior drought tolerance and resistance to heat once fully established.
This variety has a fast establishment and deep root system, making it a versatile choice for a range of conditions that will stand up to the stresses of family and pet wear. Suitable for most soil types but free draining soils are recommended.
